This info is absolutely brilliant krsweet, thank you so much for taking the time to post the info ,there are artists on the list here that are not credited on the current lists of the 45 shows ,do you happen to know if artists like ken boothe ,george mccrae ,the tymes and billy swan are actually in the 45 studios ,or are they a film that 45 showed of the artists ,i suppose we would be able to tell if the song sounded re recorded or not ,many thanks once again im really pleased with this info ,im hoping in the future some more audio of the shows may turn up and the dancers zigzag dance track of that week may be heard being announced.

Look-In magazine 15th February 1975always loved "Costafine Town" by Splinter, maybe I'm biased as it was on George Harrison's Dark Horse label it shared the distinction of being the 1st release on that label along with Ravi Shankar on the 13/09/74, but maybe they did'nt sing that song on this show? I also love the Chi-Lites "Have You Seen Her" but that was from 1972. Look-In magazine 8th March 1975

"Have You Seen Her" was, of course, re-released in 1975, and again made the Top 10 : though not until June, so doubt that's what they'd have been playing.

Thanks so much once again William for finding these rare articles from look in ,they are of great interest to me ,splinter did perform costafine town on 45 back in the autumn of 1974 and luckily that edition does still survive in the Granada archives ,I think their 1975 45 tv performance was china light ,I wonder what the chi-lites sang ,and if it was a promo shown ,because im not sure if the chilites made it to the uk at all ,anyway if you come across anymore of these look in articles William please let us know ,many thanks once again mate.

william do you have any editions of look in from sept ,oct ,nov 1974 ,only on e bay some time ago there was a look in for sale and on the front cover it said that look in goes behind the scenes of 45 ,all as i can remember william that im sure the front cover of the mag was blue ,but id be very interested in what the article was about ,heres hoping its in your collection ,thank you. Hi Jerry, I found this article from Look-In today at the library, the issue was from the 10th Oct'74 I think? I should have taken a note, but anyway it did have a blue cover the only thing is it's not a 'behind the scenes' it's a competition.

Jerry.I think the Sedaka song he sang live in the studio may well have been The Queen Of 1974!
