Hi Peter,
As Phillipgruber has said in previous threads, Dave Clark seems to be a law unto himself.
Personally I would'nt be the least bit surprised if he has a copy of 'Two Rivers', especially as he himself was in episode 2
cheers William

Does anyone know where the clip of Dave Clark and Cathy Mcgowan going up the Thames in a speedboat comes from , i think it was a speedboat or a boat of some kind , it was used in the clip of "Catch us If You can" on RSG .

We've got all studio guests for the 1970 editions of BBC2's "Disco 2" listed except for Saturday 13th June 1970 (tx'd in the early hours of Sunday 14th). Are there any details for that edition? Disco 2 UPDATE number 2Hi Syd, I've just received a copy of Disc and Music Echo dated 13th June 1970 and this is an extract from page 2 Bobby Darin and Free appear in Disco 2 introduced by Tommy Vance on Saturday BBC 2 12:30amI've double checked the Rock On TV 1970 website homepage.ntlworld.com/carousel/pob/RockOnTV70-75.html and I can't see these artists mentioned around that time, they just have question marks against an episode from the 14th June???
so it looks to me as though these were the featured artists on the 13th June or 14th June?cheers William

Thanks William. It has to be the 14th June 1970 edition. This would be Free at their peak - June 1970 being the month their classic "Fire and Water" album was released, so another notable loss to the archives.

It's a pleasure jerryg,
I don't know which song Karen Young sung on the show
but what I do know is that she is listed as being at number 24 in the NME charts in the 20th December 1969 issue I quoted from earlier with "Nobody's Child"
(the song had been in the NME charts for 11 weeks at the time and it's highest position was number 8)
On the same page is a small ad for her LP (Allentown Jail) MM662 S/MMLP66 at 37/6 in old money!
cheers William

Hello William. You may very well have started the best thread on here in ages!! Thanks. Could you possibly, at your leisure, post any TV appearance references to both 'The Honeybus' and 'The Idle Race'. Pretty sure the majority of what both bands did on the TV end of things are wiped but it would be great to have some kind of structured list to go on. Take your time on that one, no rush. We're talking mainly 1968/69 for both bands. Cheers William. Idle Race UPDATE number 1NME dated 21st December 1968 The Idle Race are mentioned as being on the TV show "Discotheque" on the 27th December cheers William
