How about Roger Whittaker's 1967-68 show called Whistle Stop , there were some great pop music acts on there, including Honeybus, The Herd , Manfred Mann ,Simon Dupree & The Big Sound and many more ,although lost shows say all 22 episodes are missing , i had the feeling that 1 or 2 performences were still around but i could be wrong. Wow....never even heard of that particular 'Roger' show. The thought of a Honeybus performance on there is goosepimpley time for me!! I do have some beautiful 'Whitaker's World Of Music' episodes but that drags up the ITV archive debate which is horribly under-appreciated and miss-represented at present.

When i say "I had the feeling that 1 or 2 performences of Whistle Stop were still around" i was getting mixed up with Whittaker's World Of Music from 1971 which does exist , any musical performences from this show i'd like to see , i know a clip of The Move performing "Tonight" is around but not sure of who else was on the show.

Because of our firewall I can't access YouTube so I can't check for myself, but did Blackfoot Sue ever do "Standing in the road" on TOTP?

That's from german tv's 'Disco'. Can't really see the BBC paying another broadcaster when they can't even show their own stuff.

The BBC pay for footage all the time, you know, depends, like anything on demand and cost. There are a lot of ZDF clips and other stuff about, so maybe the Beeb will get the rights for a show, you never know. Something I will mention when I have my mee..............said too much.
