the reason is that the original brodcast was also two parts. If I remember right, there was a interruption
for the news (such like Tagesthemen today) for 30 Minutes.

The repeat on N1 or BR is a cut of 45 Minute shows. The reason is that the program schedule allows on 45 Min segments.

The Musikladen Box Sets are due to be released officially (not just exclusively on the ARD site) on 11th March, according to various internet shops. Price for each set is about 80 EUR.

Musikladen dodgy camera still (Sheila B Devotion).
This camera was used throughout 1978 (including the David Bowie special).
Why was this not spotted by the German crew.
