That mostlikely this is not a hoax and could possibly ( I am just guessing of course ) exist! Now would'nt that be cool if we might be able to see the Space Pirates ! So Steven does this mean that you have been contacted and the rumored episodes do exist?
Thanks,Lance.

Hey! I will state this again. I have recently changed jobs thats why I have not had the time to contact Bernie. I do episode hunting in my spare time, but earning a living is far more important than contacting Bernie straight away, so I am sorry to dissapoint the conspiracy theriosts. Sorry Steven - I didn't mean to suggest that there was any conspiracy. I was simply saying that the original quesiton of why you took 4 months to act on this information and then just passed the details onto someone else was a valid one. I would have thought that even with a new job you could have spared ten minutes to write a letter or two to send an email, but obviously not. There's certainly no harm, but I'm glad that you realise that there's a good possibility he has nothing at all - there does seem to be a surfeit of unjustifiable blind optimism round here at times Regards Stuart

Hi Lance - I can't help thinking that Steven isn't the type to be cool and mysterious if he had found a missing episode, but would instead be shouting it from the rooftops. It's be nice to be wrong though. Regards Stuart

It would be special personally for me if anymore "Space Pirates" were to turn up (I have the 1 episode on Lost in Time DVD). And why? Because this is the ONLY Doctor Who story that I have never seen : I watched it all from the beginning (at age 4!), including Episode-1 twice due to the repeat, but by 1969 Anglia-ITV had started showing "Land of the Giants" at the same time as BBC1 were showing "Doctor Who", so for one story only my dad decided he would forego "Who" so that my mum could watch a few episodes of "Giants", and it was "Space Pirates" that we missed out on. If only we'd known ......

Very True,
Patience is indeed a virtue. The fans waited 5 years between the finds of Lion and Day of Armageddon, we all here can be patient as well. Lets just hope that our patience pays off. Keep your fingers crossed.
Lance.

Well Stuart,
As Steven has kindly said time and time again that these things take time, it will not happen overnight. Now Steven has had a reply back finally from Adrian, who says he is just waiting to hear back from his man. It may not seem like it now but there are things happening if you would only take the time and patience, we might see some missing episodes of the Space Pirates uncovered. Granted for a while there it did look like this was indeed another deadend, but calls are being made, people contacted. Lets just sit back and let the fans on the spot deal with recovering Space Pirates, maybe we will be able to even see Space Pirates by the end of the year. Just sit back and wait is all we have to do. LONG LIVE DOCTOR WHO !
Lance.

Hi Lance Well I would love that to be the case, but the fact that first Steven sits for four months on the contact details and now Adrian is delaying, when my understanding was that Steven was going to pen a nice polite note to the elusive Bernie, makes the whole thing seem more and more like a hoax. I'm sure Steven is not deliberately deceiving anyone, but could it be that he's so desperate for the missing episode to be his find that he's dragging things out even when there is in reality no chance of success? Oh and Lance - and this is in no way meant to be an insult or anything - but please (PLEASE) don't write things like 'LONG LIVE DOCTOR WHO' at the end of your posts - it makes me feel like I'm discussing the show with a group of 13 year old American cheerleaders Regards Stuart

Granted for a while there it did look like this was indeed another deadend Lance. Have I missed something ? I've not seen anyone produce any evidence of...well...anything. Blind optimism is not going to find Space Pirates, or anything else for that matter. This seems like one of those typical Friend-Of-A-Friend stories. If I turn out to be wrong on this I will quite happily buy a hat, and eat it !

Hi,
Stuart Douglass I am sorry that you feel that way, but if you do indeed feel like that please don't try to embarass people and just keep it to yourself, If that LONG LIVE DOCTOR WHO thing really bothers you so much I can stop it, no big deal. Now back to business, Is there any real evidence that Space Pirates does indeed exist here? Or is this just going to end like other apparent finds and just proven to be false? Any ideas.

I have stated many times why its taken so Long to write to Bernie. Also I am in the UK and contacting someone in Australia is not easy. You don't just sit down and scribble any old letter, you take time to think about what your going to say also. Your entitled to your opions Stuart, but I will clearly state I am not hoaxing anybody, I DO posses Bernie Kents Address. Hey! there might not be anything In it, but the difference between me and you Stuart is your content to sit back and do nothing! where I am prepared to see IF there is the slightest possibility that their may be any grain of truth in this. Regards
