I would like to see a Southern TV show released onto DVD called: "Going Out" by Phil Redmond.. It was broadcast on Channel Four in 1981 over about six weeks, (so six installments totally about 3 hours) and it was broadcast really late at night, but has never been seen since, although it is on YouTube. I would have been 12 so I used to watch it secretly on my Black and White portable in my bedroom. Linda Robson was in it and it was the story of kids leaving school in the 80's and not being able to find work. Sounds just like today !

I've almost finished watching the recent box set of the first season of 'Mr Rose'. The remaining episodes are definitely on my wants list now. Another great release from Network.

Comedy Nation. It was a sketch show from around 1998/9 late night on BBC2. Among those appearing in it where Mitchell and Webb, Sacha Baron Cohen, Peter Kay and the Divine David.

Horace (1982) - A gentle six part tale of a diabetic brilliantly played by Barry Jackson. Believed 'lost' by Yorkshire TV by in existence elsewhere.

Living in the past. An amazing series that hasn't seen the light of day in a long time!

You had to mention LITP.(The reality series where families tried living an iron -age (?) lifestyle?).
There was a where-are -they-now? follow-up.All I can remember is that the little lad had had a prolapse (?) which he pushed back in with a stick.

Yes! the LITP revisited thing is relatively easy to find, but the original is virtualy invisible! I watched a repeat of this on UK Gold many years ago and it was a good quality piece of television; astonishingly a watchable piece of reality TV! I recall it was as much about the dynamics between the participants as their muddy iron age predicament I would love to see this one again! *I don't remember the stick, but anything is possible.........

And still nobody's mentioned bare breasts.(I was of an impressionable age when this was first on). I think they did a sort of remake a few years back... The look-back,(part of the 'What Happened Next?' series) is on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRs-zRoBIc4

Network are about to release two from my wants list: The Man in Room 17 and Virgin of the Secret Service, along with another volume of early Armchair Theatre.
Hopefully they'll be able to follow up with The Odd Man, Object Z, Mog and even more early Armchair Theatre.
Some more classic BBC scifi would be nice (Out of the Unknown and Doomwatch are the obvious ones, but I'd also like to see 1984, The Critical Point and the surviving episodes of Counterstrike) but I'm not holding my breath!

That's the first I'd heard about further Armchair Theatre volumes (beyond four anyway), although I'd ideally like them to release ALL the existing ABC editions. There are still quite a lot of them yet. We are catered for brilliantly as far as ITV archive series are concerned though, mainly thanks to Network.
As for BBC series (as well as those you mentioned), Simon, one I'd really like to see again is The Expert with Marius Goring. It's been virtually forgotten since it was first shown but something worthy of release. With BBC series though, they seem to come out at such a snail's pace (and from random companies all over the place) that you start to wonder if you'll ever see them available in your lifetime. Seriously!

Hopefully,it won't be long to 5.In fact, quite a lot of people would love it if they could raise the rate at which they're released!

I was indeed referring to Volume 4. Sorry for any confusion. I see. Not to worry. As you said it was about to come out (it had been out for a week or so when you posted that message), I was getting excited at the possibility of a volume 5! ;D Here's hoping anyway...
