"Once Upon The Seas Of Abyssinia" was indeed an outtake from "A Beard Of Stars". It was one of the bonus tracks on the remastered and expanded version of this album from a couple of years ago along with various alternate takes. Tony Visconti was asked about the song in the late 80s or early 90s and claimed that unused Bolan songs were few and far from that era and it only came out because Fly Records wanted to cash in when Bolan left the label. I get the impression neither Bolan nor Visconti approved of its release at that time.
