I agree about the frustration, tons and tons of tape and very little to show for it, at least thats the case with audio, when you do get something its usualy a frgament. Still its worth it if you find something Even more frustrating is that there is a cache of unused Scotch N1500/Sony High Density reel to reel tapes - brand new and still sealed!

Someone kept taking new & sealed Scotch N1500 tapes to a local charity shop near me last year. I never saw any used ones, which makes me think perhaps someone dumped a nice collection...
