There are 8 episodes in particular, that are mentioned by name, that are said to be in the hands of private collectors. Those episodes are allegedly: Myth Makers 2 & 4, Smugglers 2 & 4, Highlanders 2 and Space pirates 4-6. Of course, the episodes are mentioned based off the BritBox listing. Only Paul Vanezis and Phillip Morris know which exact episodes are in which private collection and they ain't telling for confidentiality reasons. Private collectors will return missing episodes when they either die or are willing to part with the prints. With the missing episode rumor popping up again, this is a fresh reminder. Only because you keep recirculating them....in again another dead thread. Please stop we all love discussion when there's something to talk about but it feels like if you havnt posted or if people have stopped responding to your other posts you drag up another dead thread and repeat the same rubbish. |

You know like my aunt Ethel was in a pub once with William hartnell 4th cousin twice removed and swears that he was buried with a full complete set of film prints of his collective works of his entire film career....all we have to do is go and dig him and them up. At least something original |

Richard I get the impression you do so e work or at least have some contacts with the range(apologies both if I have got that wrong or over simplified it) but if you do can I ask what arrangement was made for the underwater menace release to happen? Like where did the funding come from, has it had a scaled down budget due to the non involvement of BBC America or did someone else join as a partner? Just curious since snowmen was beleived to be the end of the range then we get this(which is great news) I know there's a lot of questions there and if they've been answered somewhere else feel free to just drop a link as a reply. My curiosity is mainly fueled by is there much chance there'll be more (depending on TUWM success) |
