Janice Peters Glenda Collins The Flee - Rekkers Wee Willie Harris Vince Eager Duffy Power Wee Willie Harris appeared in two early '60s Italian movies - Kev posted a clip from one, here's the other (below). There's also a (in my opinion) dreadful performance on 'The Wheeltappers' and Shunters' Social Club' in 1975. Can't recall seeing anything on the other artists!

No compensation of course, but this is a photo of Honeybus on TOTP Thursday 11th April 1968 And below is The Honeybus on Dutch/Belgian TV. Cannot quite remember which. I think this is our best chance of a surviving clip. Attachment Deleted

How about these early rockers - does any footage survive of these great performers? Janice Peters Glenda Collins The Flee - Rekkers Wee Willie Harris Vince Eager Duffy Power There is a segment from "Panorama" (16 March 1959) that includes most of the Larry Parnes stable, including Vince Eager, Duffy Power, Johnny Gentle, and Billy Fury. They are all interviewed, and Duffy performs one song.

Oops! Must confess AJ that I'm not familiar with this band at all (a year or so too "modern" for my tastes!). Is this really you, Peter.. the same man who put together the excellent "Look Wot They Dun!" book?

Oops! Must confess AJ that I'm not familiar with this band at all (a year or so too "modern" for my tastes!). Is this really you, Peter.. the same man who put together the excellent "Look Wot They Dun!" book? Good question Kev! Glam Rock was basically good old rock 'n' roll with a modern sheen and silly outfits! Certainly T. Rex, Ziggy-era Bowie, Gary Glitter, Wizzard, Slade and all the Chinn and Chapman acts owed a hell of a lot more to Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and (in Roy Wood's case) Phil Spector than they did Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd and King Crimson. For what it's worth, if I had to choose my favourite musical era, then it would have to be the 18 months or so from autumn 1965 to early 1967 between Merseybeat and Psychedelia. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Animals, The Hollies, The Spencer Davis Group, The Yardbirds and so many others produced what was (for me) their finest work, and they looked great too! Of course this isn't the only music I listen to though.

I think this is our best chance of a surviving clip. Great photos thanks, I'd seen the second one before but didn't know what it was from. The first I've never even seen before Thinking about the boat footage again, if the location is indeed Antwerp then it's more likely to be from Belgian TV than Dutch. Which makes me wonder if the source could be RTB's "Tienerklanken." They had a fondness for filming bands out-and-about in Belgium; there's the well known Pink Floyd clips ("See Emily Play" and "The Scarecrow") for starters. Is there an episode list for that show anywhere? The RTB archive seems to be held these days by pro.sonuma.be/en/sonuma, but it's only for registered researchers.
