Can't see how a word of this relates to Phil Morris giving Mark Gatiss a private showing of fragments of POTD. Think you're jumping on Tim's bandwagon of how rumours spread out of hand. But your theory has got completely out of hand, from the off, Brandon. Anyway, let's wait and see what Phil reveals from his findings, he has recently promised that the list will go down - "soon". Philip has said many things. I wouldn’t hold your breath. |

Philip has said many things. I wouldn’t hold your breath. But he's delivered the goods before - so it's more than saying many things. In the long wait for whatever he's looking for, finding and laboriously restoring (in-house, mind) all he can do is say many things - in the lenghty time unfortunately alloted to him. Meanwhile, I'm definately holding my breath! Even if i have to break a world record doing so. He’s delivered some goods. He’s promised to announce others - in 2019 specifically for instance. The man has a penchant for talking nonsense. So if you’re excited by a promise of “soon”, then that’s up to you. For the rest of us, it’s not our first rodeo. |

Can't see how a word of this relates to Phil Morris giving Mark Gatiss a private showing of fragments of POTD. Really? Let me break it down for you. - Paul Vanezis records authentic-looking recreations of scenes from Power of the Daleks, at Mark Gatiss's request.
- These scenes are shown to Mark Gatiss. Given that they were shot on 16mm they may even have been projected for him (but this isn't necessary for the screening rumour to make sense).
- Word gets out that Mark Gatiss has been shown clips of Power of the Daleks. Either through Chinese whispers, or deliberate misinformation, the fact that these are recreated scenes and not the real deal is omitted.
- By deduction, people assume that Philip Morris was the one who showed these scenes to Gatiss.
This is fairly simple IMO and far more likely than a secret screening with no evidence whatsoever |

As much as i would like to say differently , there is no power.  If they found it 10 years ago, it would likely have been released by now. Whatever the rational of the rumor, nothing seems returned. We're grateful to pm for those 11 episodes and the few other not related shows. The vague comments like "expect the unexpected " have not correlated to any known recoveries. I hope pm finds more, maybe he has something for the 60th. But there is no evidence and the omni rumor does not correlate to our knowledge of the bicycling system. These dreams may get us excited but excited and truth are not the same. |

You're statement seems to say, "I don't want there to be power", like you want the negative outcome. As PM said before, "expect the unexpected" - this is a positive statement, of optimism, not a negative "there is" nothing out there. |

One went to Australia and the other to New Zealand and then Singapore. The only real hope is that something was “liberated” from Auntie’s destruction pile in 1975. When i say no power, i mean , even though there are shows that don't get released, i fully believe that if the bbc was returned a dr who episode 10 years ago, it would be completely different from any other dr who recovery if it's unreleased or acknowledged.
If they found power, i would believe they would want to monitize it as fast as possible or it would eventually leak out.
Now , could there be an episode of power, or another episode, in a private collection?
Yes.
But that isn't a recovery. And it is more likely believed because we want it believed and the rumor mill. Than any evidence of its existence.
