Does anyone know the duration of the Thames TV Star Rider episodes?
The Be Bop Deluxe episode currently available on Amazon Prime is 29 minutes.
I only ask as the audio I have of the Steve Hillage Band at Hyde Park '76 is 48 minutes.
Is this the same duration as the Star Rider episode broadcast on June 30th 1977?

Star Rider was a 13 - part concert series directed by Lindsey Clennell.

Lindsey lives in New York and has been contacted to ask if he could say if Star Rider was a Thames Television Production

It was independently produced for the record company, Virgin I think, who possibly gave the shows away, as record companies did with music videos, to promote record sales. Steve Hillage was in Hyde Park, Be Bop Delux in a theater I think. Most likely the mobile video facilities company was Trillion. They would have handled the edit as well. So most likely they would have held the master edit - copies would be sent for transmission by Thames and possibly others.

The Be Bop Deluxe Star Rider was broadcast on Thames Thursday 14th April 1977 from 11.30 pm - 12.00 am, the Steve Hillage one Thursday 30th June 1977 from 11.30 pm - 12.00 am
