Again a difficult choice. Some excellent ideas and great storylines. The only story I've never been keen on is the moonbase and for me Power and Evil stand out. Although I love the smugglers and the Faceless ones. Season four twenty years ago was seen as a weak season for stories in fandom. I cwholly disagreed then and still do.

If there's one story that's crying out for padding, then it's The Moonbase!The superb animation, although finally completing the story in one form or another finds the serial thin and wanting of further narrative. I really don't think that even if the films were found that this would change my view. The story is resolved and ends too quickly in my opinion. |

I am torn between the smugglers and Macra. Two completely dissimilar stories, both completely excellent. Nigh on impossible to choose. In an arbitrary fashion I chose Macra.

Power without a doubt for me, favorite story in all of Who. I pretty much love this season, save for UM, which isn't that good IMO, The Faceless Ones and The Smugglers, both of which I haven't seen. Surprised no one's voted for The Tenth Planet yet. Next season's going to be a tough one for me.

I went for power of the dalek.but it was so hard to choose because I also love tenth planet/moonbase/faceless ones/evil of the daleks

I picked Evil of the Daleks, the episodes set in Maxtible's house are so creepy and atmospheric and the final two episodes set on Skaro are for me just a joy to listen to when I imagine how the civil war with the Daleks might have looked. The Emperor's booming voice - especially his first scene in Episode 6 - always gives me chills.

So your certain that it is Vulcan and not Vulcanis in the Man Trap? I'm not positive it was even stated on air so it's a good excuse to watch Man Trap again. I only ever had TOS off-air on VHS from a station that didn't come in well so I've long since ditched them. I'm going by one of the transcripts so anything's possible. And at this point even if it was Vulcanis originally it may have been edited to retcon it. |

For me it was evil hands down. The first victoria, marius gorings superb acting, Starting from the sherlockian detective work in the first part with the missing tardis, to the morality story with the dalek/human factor, to the final end of the daleks.
For me, it would be hard to rate any Dr Who story higher.

It's that time again guys! I love all of these stories so I honestly don't know what to pick. But I'm calling Power or Evil will take top billing because, well duh. Happy voting! I've been looking forward to the Season 4 poll for a long time! Thanks for keeping them going! I went for Power of the Daleks in the end. Classic. |

I really can't decide. It dosen't help that most of them are missing. These are the mythical stories that I have grown up hearing about. (along with Season 5) I really can't choose between them.

I agree that this season is in the worst condition. Fortunately, thanks to pm and pv, season 5 is now better represented. |

Moonbase for me as I've always preferred the Cybermen over the Daleks. I just hope that we can get more of the *DELETED* eps back.  |
