sounds like a lot of hype, probably a lot of stuff thats been seen before with a few rarities if we are lucky. these companies have to drum up publicity somehow so a few facts that are wrong can easily be brushed aside at a later date. guess we will have to wait and see what they dig up

hm looking at his catalogue i see there are is a LOT of stuff listed that is readily available or at least not very rare. as tv becomes more available on the internet, youtube etc it would be my guess that the collections value maybe going down and not up.......apart from the rare 'deleted' stuff

perhaps a campaign to get some of the archive profits ploughed back into Restoration and recovery should be started?

i meant 'Another evening with Fred Astaire' not the scrooge movie! got that free with a newspaper a few years ago and only watched a few minutes because it was so bad. I think it was done at the dawn of computer colourisation, unfortunately Laurel and Hardy were done at about the same time and the results are also less than hoped for

short sightedness at the BBC still! if they dont re dub the episodes soon the original presenters wont be around. how can we expect the BBC to care about vintage program recovery if they wont even consider a relatively easy restoration
