Does anyone know where the clip of the Tremeloes on TOTP from 1967 originated from (the source) in this documentary?

From looking at some of the shots in the promo, I can make out Highgate Woods, East Finchley Underground Depot and Muswell Hill high street, all familliar sites for local lad Dave Davies when growing up in the area. Moreover the presenter at the beginning looks familliar, he also appears as the announcer in the newsreel promo for 'Wonderboy" which was filmed earlier in 1968. Wonderboy is also featured in another German newsreel "Blick in die Welt" from this archive

There is of course the performance by Fairweather of Natural Sinner on TOTP in colour with the nucleus of Amen Corner.
Their singles are pretty well represented by surviving contemporary footage apart from 'Gin House' and 'Get Back'.

Came across this quote a while back
Ray Davies: Not Like Everybody Else, Thomas M. Kitts
"This lends some insight into the creation of the video as well as its reception: The Kinks wanted to do something different to promote “Dead End Street.” Tired of the hackneyed lip-sync performance of Top of the Pops, Davies drew on his interest in film and his college experiences with Paul O’Dell to develop a promotional film, which Davies expected to air on British television. Unfortunately, after its screening, this remarkable three-and-one-half-minute film was banned by the BBC for being distasteful. With minimal controversy, the BBC could allude to the darkly humorous treatment of widows, pallbearers, coffins, and corpses. Perhaps, however, Davies surmised the true reason for the ban: “It showed slums and poverty and so they wouldn’t run it. I guess they prefer films about running around in parks, jumping over chairs.”
Wondering where this was aired before the BBC banned it. Did they show it or ITV.?
The only other airing was on European TV but that was later during 1967.

Really great job there. How long did this take you and are you planning any other TOTP b&w clips?

In fact, Tony Blackburn never actually presented TOTP when Arthur Brown was performing - Arthur only appeared once (the clip was repeated three times, it's the existing one) and the presenter was Pete Murray. The audio from the 25th of July 1968 show with Stuart Henry appears to indicate a different performance - Arthur B's vocal is live and noticeably different from the record, and the brass is provided live by the TOTP Orchestra. The surviving clip we know and love sounds like it's mimed to the record (unless it's been overdubbed?) The surviving clip has always seemed out of sync so perhaps it was dubbed. Is the 25th July 68 available anywhere?, as it would be interesting to re-dub it to see if that matches better.

A salute to European TV for making and having the only surviving clips of these groups.. Austria. .Quite mad but my goodness they did try. There are at least another 2 performances of 'Something Here...' still in existence. One from Dutch tv and one from the BBC's All Systems Freeman.
