Does anyone know if any of the TOTP performances of Natural Born Boogie, Humble Pie survive in any form? Almost certainly not, but, as with the July 1969 Rolling Stones clip that surfaced via 'Hits A Go Go' last year, you never know for sure!

Thanks Peter, fingers crossed. Always been a big fan of The Pie, and the recent interview in Uncut peaked my interest in the TOTP performances.

Would anyone here have an audio tape of the Nov. 13, 1969 TOTP? I understand it exists as audio.

This review is from The Edinburgh Evening News dated 23/1/70 ... Thanks William. When you see now (thanks to Your Tube) what TV Pop shows the Europeans were producing at this time, The BBC stuff in comparison was dreary, utilitarian uninspiring and of course in B/W looked like it was produced by a couple of pensioners don't you think?

Once wiped, but now found! Audio only (but with photos) of the TOTP 1966 year end shows of #1 records, 1st show on 26-12-66, 2nd on 27-12-66. Bert Weill found his dad's tape, posted it on YouTube, and gave it to Kaleidoscope. Half of the first show is missing, and some songs have been taken out due to copyright restrictions. But what's left is fab!! Most of these are live special performances done at TOTP due to Musicians Union rules. Have fun with it !!! There are details in the video...
Contents along with your favorite DJ presenters:
Spencer Davis Group - Keep On Running Manfred Mann - Pretty Flamingo Georgie Fame - Get Away The Troggs - With A Girl Like You Small Faces - All Or Nothing Chris Farlowe - Out Of Time Tom Jones - Green, Green Grass Of Home Donovan - Sunshine Superman The Seekers - Morningtown Ride Four Tops - Reach Out, I'll Be There

Dad used to make audio recordings of TOTP as well as 45. He taped the (now wiped) performance of Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting . "Down in the silver jungle , something stirred, but it was funny because there was a sugar shortage ..."
The recording has vanished over the years , but I live in hope of it turning up one day .
