Hi paul ,not sure if you are saying that the clip of bcrs you have posted was from lift off, only the bay city rollers sang summerlove sensation in the granada studios ,the set they sang the song on consisted of i think it was green and orange squares on the floor and 3 or 4 blocks built up situated on the stage behind the bcrs in the same coulour as the floor.

This clip would have been from a wiped/missing show not the existing show that they performed on. Are there actual photos from this particular show?

Hi paul ,no the existing clip of the bay city rollers singing all of me loves all of you has a totally different set that lift off used in the autumn of 74 ,it consisted of swirls of white light bulbs on the wall behind the bay city rollers singing and eli culbertson ,the studio set im on about is from july 74 and the wiped edition of the bcrs singing summerlove sensation and it was of red and orange blocks and the floor the same colour squares ,a bit like on the sweets 16 performance for the show ,the studio set of the bcrs oct performance can be found on you tube under the best childrens tv decade 70s video hosted by philip schofield ,there are several pics around somewhere of the bay city rollers ,slade and mud taken from july aug 74 lift off ,and the studio set is as ive described ,cheers paul.

There's also a few examples of the 'bare' stage around the net, this included in the Keith Badman article.

im bumping this thread up ,in the hope that some new reader or old reader of this board ,has some more info to add to help fill in some more gaps of this long forgotten gem of a pop show ,has anyone any idea if there are any more copies of the show available anywhere to buy ,ive got the episode featuring the sweet etc from november 74 ,but i suppose the remaining surviving episodes are gathering dust in the archives.
