This programme was previously listed as missing (in 2009 and 2010) - it is now 'Existence unknown' (which is what occurs when lostshows.com is being updated). I have found a copy in the Museum of London. Made a submission to Lost Shows.com under The Adventures Of Rupert Bear for the following, which ITV confirm they hold..
Rupert And The Chinese Kite 17/10/73 ITC. ITV say they hold various film elements for this, but none are confirmed as the complete programme.

This does not easily qualify as to be in this or my youtube threads. I am very pleased to announce that the vast majority of the whole series of Saturday Stayback has been found via copies made on domestic video tape. ""Missing or incomplete episodes for programme SATURDAY STAYBACK. 22.01.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) 29.01.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) 05.02.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) 12.02.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) 19.02.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) 26.02.83 with Chris Tarrant, Helen Atkinson Wood, Bob Carolgees, Timothy Davies, Tony Slattery (missing) All 6 episodes are missing."" Around two minutes of the final edition are missing (oddly enough during a Rolf Harris mickey-take....). I am delighted to announce that I have been in receipt of all six shows on DVD, and these will be going back to the archives.

Tremendous,Ray! Do you know who, apart from the regular cast members, was on the shows? Had a quick skim through one of the episodes. There is Chris Tarrant, Phil Cool, Bob Carolgees, Hale and Pace (not yet a duo), Chas and Dave, Roy Wood's band (including Chas, Phil lynott and Bev Bevan, my mate Tony Slattery, and Frank Carson amongst others. And it's funnier than I thought it would be!
