The Community Audio website has what seems (?) to be the complete audio for "one of a series of romantic television programmes" as the opening narration puts it.It's the soundtrack of 'The Glass Menagerie",which they say is from 'The CBS Playhouse',and features Shirley Booth.

I think it really is looking hopeful for this series.Sam Peckinpah's (apparantly) amazing 'Noon Wine' can,it's reported,be viewed at both the Library of Congress and The Museum of Television and Radio in New York.Copies are said to frequently change hands among collectors, and it seems it's twice been uploaded to Youtube.
...Of course, some proof would be nice.

While the Paley Centre are said to have had a copy since 1977,and UCLA to have a 1 inch tape.I think you might be right on this one Ray!

The Paley copy of 'Dial M' runs to 2 hours in colour, while the UCLA one seems to be out-takes running to 80 mins.
The version of 'Laura' which was screened a couple of years ago was described as "a rehearsal".There are several references to actors in the series donating their own "tapes" to archives. It seems as though there's a lot of material out there.

Some footnotes...
I would think 'From Chekhov with love' should also be considered part of the series?
If 'A Hat Full of Rain' is around it would feature a rare pre Columbo appearance of Peter Falk.
'Saturday Night Around the World' featuring Tom Jones and the Supremes and 'At the Drop of Another Hat' featuring Flanders and Swann ( a sort of non drag Hinge & Bracket IIRC)were perhaps unusual additions to the series in that they were not dramas but musical spectaculars.
A couple of SPs were recorded in the US. I would think these were 'A Hat full of Rain' 'Johnny Belinda' and 'The Crucible' ..not sure anyone know?
