Slow down a bit Ray.It's difficult to keep up with these!
An example to us all.If this was a police-drama,I'd say you were getting results through "Good,old-fashioned coppering",together with the application of the "little grey cells".Very nice work.I've looked for some of these myself, and failed to find them.

John - your sterling work with the BFI was far better than mine and I couldn't improve on it, so I left you to it!

Repeating the information on another thread (by John Green, please note!):-
""Nov 13, 2015 at 8:07pm John Green said: Granny Atlas 18/10/1978. Weighing Tortoise 27/12/1978. Getting Tom's Attention 15/1/1980. Invisible Hare 26/2/1980. Many Paws Make Light Work 4/3/1980. Pipkin of the Year 11/3/1980. Painting 27/5/1980. Copy Cats 31/3/1981
are on the new DVD (vol.4) but are listed as missing.
Thanks to James at Roobarb for the listings, and for pointing out that these episodes are on domestic formats.""
I have repeated this for inclusivity's sake!!!!
They are not my personal finds!
I do wonder if this may have something to do with Kaleidoscope (who have had Nigel Plaskitt appear at the Talbot, with Hartley....), who told them (and me) he had some domestic recordings.
Just a thought.

An incomplete but 'lengthy' episode of Play School, a domestic off-air recording, turned up in a charity shop in Bristol a few years ago, and has been transferred to digital format and preserved. This has just been brought to my attention, and I am making a note of it. The episode is the wiped one from 02/09/1982.

Hi Peter,
I believe Ken did indeed find some at Ulster TV some years ago?... Ken would know which ones?
I never saw a published list.

Bumping this thread for a few reasons - one being that I've just had it confirmed I've found an excerpt of a 1951 BBC programme called 'the Radio Show' (tx 03/06/1951). Held by NYPL on NTSC U-matic tape!!!!
