No need to apologise, Simon. After reading my post I do come across as some smart-arsed prick, sorry about that.

That being said - the speed of light and simple facts about radio waves should have been talked about at High School. However it is possible that some were away that day (or still thought that school was "dumb").

Hey,don't limit yourself to Dr.Who,as alot of BBC (and ITV Compaies) Lost shows were also aired in canada. You never know what could turn up-maybe not a Dr.Who but something else. Did Canada air "Out of the Unknown" and "A for Andromida"? I know (some) of the missing first season (1961) "Avengers" aired in Canada. Hello Again, I recently contacted the Association of Canadian Archivists about the plight of the missing episodes in Canada, and the search that is currently underway to locate missing material. Here is part of the response they sent me: I have checked a number of the titles, and other keywords, against our Film, Video and Sound database as well as checking our paper finding aids relating to films and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, but have been unable to locate these films. However, as you mentioned, these are missing episodes and may be held in film cans as of yet undescribed in our databases. They invited me to visit thier archives to see if I can locate any relevant material. Lance.

What about 'Ace of Wands?' Wasn't that shown in Canada?

What about 'Ace of Wands?' Wasn't that shown in Canada? Hmmm... It'd be nice to see some Selby/Loe episodes re-surface...

Whereabouts in Canada is the archive? I believe it's in downtown Toronto, which is about a two hour drive from where I am, but I don't think they'd just let me stroll right on in. However, if anyone does gain access and needs an extra set of hands to help in the search, I'd be more then happy to assist.

You'd have more chance of finding a missing episode as a free gift in a box of Frankenberry.

You'd have more chance of finding a missing episode as a free gift in a box of Frankenberry. See, this is the kind of information the episode hunters need if they're going to be successful. Marius, when did General Mills start giving out TV episodes with Frankenberry cereal? What year did they stop? Are they still giving them out? Did they primarily distribute BBC science fiction shows, or were other BBC dramas included?

I dunno dude. In the 70s, my Mom only bought Count Chocula as she said Frankenberry was for 'young ladsies or faggots'.
