Funnily enough, I was discussing your research from Singapore and Rhodesia with Paul V last night! ;D Richard Hi Richard And I got an email from Paul about this last night, too! Jon Mabye you could give some of this info to Phil Morris. He could probably use it in the near future.

give some of this info to Phil Morris. He could probably use it in the near future. That's why we were speaking to Paul, as he's co-ordinating everything. Richard

Hi Richard I take it this search that Paul and Ian are undertaking is specifically for Doctor Who episodes? Would be a shame to overlook several other programmes on the BBC wanted list, but I would understand if it was and why? Good Luck and well done for doing this inititive. Steve ;D

Steve ;D Are there records or other evidence to show that those other programs were sold or shown in Africa? I'm sure Phil woud like to see it if such evidence exists.

Steve ;D I gather this links in with what Ian L had to say in the last day or so on his thread on the OG forums about a renewe push to look into finding missing episodes.

That's enough of the one-upmanship. Any further "I told you so" comments, in either direction, will be removed.

The anniversary, Capaldi, the recovered episodes. There will never be a time as intense as this again for Doctor Who fans. Feelings are being ramped up to eleven and beyond. We need to revel in every minute of it, but be nice to each other. Because, like Christmas Day, it will be over before we know it (apart from the Capaldi bit) and reality will be waiting on the other side. Bollinger on ice - see you tomorrow night.

Just reading through this thread and I think it's incredible. It's great to see that the Missing Episodes Forum has actually played a part in bringing Doctor Who episodes back is amazing. Let's hope that the topic continues to inspire people and in another 8 years we might see some more

Gad.Phil Morris' August 6th "Wish me luck" message reminds me of Captain Oates'."I may be some little time".

The thread could do with a new title, though the old one's an historical document now,I suppose.
