Hello Miss.Jo Kingdom
I said earlier that fans tend to be a little bit too skeptical at times. ut if you do have Invasion part 1 when could you send me that camcorder tape? Please send me an e-mail at stereofreak01@hotmail.com as soon as possible, or reply here on the forum if you wish to do that.
Thanks,Lance.

theres a dinoser at the end of it. most of teh ep is bout the army. So, Lance, as Jo has already explained this, it's clearly the Pertwee episode.

However, for various reasons (mainly involving an attempt to cover the revelation of there being dinosaurs in the story), 'Invasion of the Dinosaurs' has the onscreen title of just 'Invasion' for episode 1

When was the five-part Invasion of the Dinosaurs introduced and in which country? How exactly did it work? Was it simply the last five episodes? I remember being contacted by someone who had Invasion of the Dinosaurs: Part One in colour, but I recall it turned out that he actually had Part One of the five-part version, thus Part Two of the six-part version.

I haven't seen Invasion of the Dinosaurs, but I imagine starting from the beginning of Part Two would be somewhat confusing. Did they do the same with Planet of the Daleks (retitle the last three episodes)? That would make very little sense! On a similar note, I've always wondered about The Daleks' Master Plan: would Australia have edited Coronas of the Sun and Volcano so that they made some sort of sense? Coronas of the Sun ends with the Doctor reporting that the atmosphere outside the TARDIS is poisonous and Volcano starts, if I remember rightly, with the TARDIS materialising in Trafalar Square. I suppose the start of Volcano could have been edited into the end of the previous episode. Anyway, I've gone completely off-topic.

hehe. like i havnt herd that 1 b4. You're a very silly person, and I'm not going to believe a word you say untill you start using proper English. (And I don't want to hear about Americans complaining about proper use of English either!)

(And I don't want to hear about Americans complaining about proper use of English either!) Indeed. This thread may in fact be a new low for the Missing Episodes board, both in terms of basic literacy and for taking two pages to point out the rather obvious fact that Ms Kingdom is talking about Episode 1 of 'Invasion of the Dinosaurs' Stuart

Yes, indeed, that is what Lionheart did when they syndicated these two stories in the '80s. "Planet" simply had the episode captions for 4-6 re-titled as 3-5.
