Dear folks Sorry to raise this here, but I can't seem to get on TOTP2 message board even though I registered. It's just in checking all the years of TOTP2; there just NEVER has been a single clip from the 26th February 1970 show. No not even one in NINE years! I'm amazed that this is the case. Has anyone any ideas as to why such a glaring ommission? Regards ASM

the whole of 26/02/70 does exist at the BBC intact though

As regards the Chicago "I'm A Man" clip shown on TOTP2, if I remember correctly from a previous posting, didn't that particular performance originate from an edition of Disco 2 and survived (albeit in B/W) as it was included on an Engineer's VT?
I'm sure someone on here will have more details...

Hello All Sorry, but Vanity Fair is from 5/2/70. And while it's very nice to learn the shows other 26/2/70 clips appearred my point is there is NOT ONE episode of TOTP2 with a SINGLE clip EVER! from this dated show. Even though i'm supposedly registered on TOTP2 board i can't get on the messageboard to raise this perplexing issue. ASM

I think people are getting confused here. The correct contents for 26/2/70 are:
White Plains - My Baby Loves Lovin' Pickettywitch - The Same Old Feeling Dave Dee - My Woman's Man Malcolm Roberts - We Can Make It Girl Cuff Links - When Jude Comes Around Kenny Rogers & 1st Edition - Something's Burning Steve & Albert - Follow The Bouncing Ball Dave Clark Five - Everybody Get Together Steam - Na Na Hey Hey (Promo) Jackson 5 - I Want You Back (Promo) Mary Hopkin - Temma Harbour (Pan's People) Shocking Blue - Venus (Disc) Edison Lighthouse - Love Grows (Disc)
It's all on the database for you to see, folks!

There you are! Thank you very much Laurence. Now everyone can see there has NEVER EVER been a single performance from this show in ALL TOTP2's history - not a sausage! but WHY?? why, why, why. I'd love to get a message on the TOTP2 board to ask the production office - WHY? ASM

'..the correct RUNNING ORDER...'
Ooh, get her! Picky picky! I'm sure Lawrence didn't intend for us to think that was a running order, just a content listing, which was what was being queried.

Quite right. It was just the order as printed on the original P as B document, which usually lists all studio acts first, then recorded / repeated material or film clips. Finally discs etc. I just dug it out and posted it here as it came as there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to what was in that particular edition.
All these editions are on the database though - really! Anyone can look any edition they like up themselves. No need for mysteries any more.

Laurence knows i wasnt being picky....
(sorry i spelt your name wrong earlier)
I would love to see the database in the correct orders sometime.
though some bits in Laurence's list was missing, I purely filled them in, and as a bonus, into the correct order for the completists.

I assume you mean "DJ Heaven" (which always seemed a slightly odd name considering none of the DJs featured were actually dead...) yes thats it as for the clips I can't access the totp2 database for now so I can't check which other shows they may be from but I have seen these clips on dj heaven, docus and such like I don't know which shows these are from from so ignore or not as your own knowlege dictates White Plains - My baby loves lovin’ (Studio) b/w Pickettywitch - Same old feeling (Studio) b/w Steve & Albert - Follow the bouncing ball (Studio) b/w Mary Hopkin - Temma harbour (Film/Pan’s people) b/w Ididn't know dave dees only solo hit survives its a pity the bbc didn't do a sounds of the sixties II or seventies II
