Who can tell...?
There is, however, an audio recording of the show in existence. It's not exactly a high quality recording, though.

Whats the name of the piece of music used in the final episode of QUATERMASS II ? Is it composed by either Robert Farnon, Philip Green or Trevor Duncan?

Odd. I never heard that. I presume if it was totally factual we would have heard about it by now. Anyone know any more about this then?

Can anyone tell me if whether Nigel Kneale ever appeared on SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MILL sometime around 1976?.

Very unlikely, i'd have thought, seeing as they were from the very early days of ITV and almost certainly went out live. Doubt if they were ever recorded although someone reading this will likely know for certain.
