Dear all
Looking at Dave's IMDB, are these all missing?, or, is it really a case of nothing existing on UK Television for Dave 1963 - 1970?
Dave Berry - IMDb
There are 46 UK television appearances on there, do we know what songs he sang on all of them?
Is that 46 the complete number for 1963-1970, or can we come up with others that are not listed on IMDB?
Is the true figure for 1963-1970 nearer 60 rather than 50, I am fairly certain this may be the case.
Were there any other TV appearances for Dave during 1963, BBC or ITV?
What do you say? ...
If you can add to the 46, with perhaps the songs sang, our resident Peter Stirling may update IMDB for us.
Cheers William

Hi William
That could be 'near as damn it' for his TV performances. He had 3 big hits in the sixties Little Things The Crying Game and Mama 1966.... So Brit pop TV would have lost interest in him after that.
There may be a Euro-pop TV performance of his record This Strange Effect 1965 by Ray Davies which did well in parts of Europe but did not chart in the UK.
I think it was back on the tour bus after that supporting new acts that were coming through.

William.
Thanks to the other contributors .I have added a few of the more obscure shows and not looked into the big ones like TOTPs RSG etc yet. They seem to have got through without any probs so should start appearing soon.
The Euro shows can be a bit of a problem as some don't seem to be listed at all and obviously people in the host country would have had the skeleton info the IMDB needs.
Another UK problem was 'Unforgettable' this was not networked IIRC and was shown all over the place at different times so I found it difficult to track down.

Imagine a full colour location video for 'Chaplin House'? That would be marvellous.
P.S.....There wasn't one. I'm just saying how lovely if there was! 😄

There are plenty of others with better knowledge who can help William on the IMDB.

The only place that Unforgettable varied was on S4C.

There was an earlier series for Thames TV in 1981, but (as far as I know), none of these were repeated during C4's 1982/1983 run. To add to the confusion, a handful of the 1982/1983 shows were held over until 1986. Here's one of the few Thames TV era shows that I've seen:
