They were different times. Bill Cotton was able to say the N word on daytime BBC1 in the mid 1980s when he was Managing Director of TV. It is also in The Young Ones. I doubt many people want it used in modern day programmes. But somehow the F word is OK everywhere. PS Wasn't it also The Young Ones who, spoofing Grange Hill, said "We're the only kids in Britain who never say f[cut]". So I'm not convinced there was less obscenity. Maybe TV got it belatedly from real life, instead of the other way round.

Two former Missing season 4 episodes are getting a showing next month. Death on a doorstep and Inquest on an idol will be screened 7th and 11th of April respectively.
Also I see the home page seems to have vanished, the page that has all the incomplete show lists on it

They’re clearly not very well hidden! They did say a few months back that they had found another 9 and that they would be going through them (which obviously involves paperwork as well) as time and commitments permitted.

Hopefully they will be able to clear for transmission the episodes of THE BARNSTORMERS and BOYD Q.C. they mentioned recently they had found sometime soon.

I just finished watching the recently-discovered NHP episode ‘contents noted’ & fancy seeing the Aston Martin DB5 getting a cameo in the episode.I wonder if messers broccoli & saltzman were watching this back in 1962 and asked the producer to borrow it as 007’s new car in ‘goldfinger’.
