There's been a homemade audio of this knocking around for decades. Here's my notes to the show made about 20 years ago:
An audio recording of a thirty minute one-off special the Shadows recorded for ATV Television in August 1962 which is believed wiped. It was used as a vehicle to promote their new album 'Out Of The Shadows' and several tracks from it were featured.
Guest was singer Frank Ifield who sang three songs including two of his hits 'She Taught Me How To Yodel' and 'I Remember You'. Cliff also made an unbilled appearance as the tea-boy to mime to his latest recording 'It’ll Be Me'.
The show begins with the Shadows arriving at ATV television Centre in a Rolls Royce to the soundtrack of 'Nivram' and running to the studio where they don their guitars. Live numbers included 'Perfdia', 'Bo Didley'(featuring Brian Locking) and 'Kinda Cool' (with Bruce playing the guitar solo).
In effect, Peter Gormley had got each of his principal artists appearing in a single production yet all that remains is the TV Times billing and a few production stills taken during camera rehearsals.
