As far as I can tell, the Animals only performed one song on the edition of “The Hippodrome Show” broadcast on 02 August 1966. It was “Squeeze Her, Tease Her”.

Incidentally, latter day Animals drummer Barrie Jenkins lives just a few miles from here, and runs a shop selling musical instruments. A nice bloke, but he doesn't remember much!

Ray , can I suggest you start a separate Cliff thread with that info from TV Brain ? By association and in their own right, The Drifters/Shadows must be up there in missing TV episode terms as well
I'm sure it's also very incomplete. Cliff was on some earlier Oh Boys - I thought there wasn't any footage from the actual Sept 13 and 20th 1958 shows for example although there is that footage from an early rehearsal which does have some Cliff.
You can add Big Night Out 25/3/61 which was a broadcast of the 1961 NME Poll Winners Concert although off air audio of Cliff and The Shads does survive.
I can't say my interest in Cliff goes much beyond beyond the 1960 "Tito Burns Effect" (love The Shadows though) but there is a fair amount of off air TV audio "knocking around" although it's harder to find than for example the mop tops, Hendrix etc.... where it's pretty easy to get hold of unreleased material. I did have a Cdr series of off airs called something like The Cliff Richard Rarities which had off airs from around 1964 to 1970, lots of TV and radio but all the cd's corrupted and it's been impossible to find them again. The set was about 8 volumes of 2 cd's each and had a lot of BBC Radio audio and shows like Big Night Out, SOS Show etc..., iirc.
Same goes for The Shadows. Cliff and The Shads don't appear to have the same kind of tape swapping tradition / community as everyone else from the 60s.

there are 3 Kidd clips - one silent walking round docks, one from 31 august 65 Ballymena onstage silent and third clip two mimed songs sans Pirates.
