It is being reported on the Jack Hargreaves Facebook Page that a film has been discovered called "Learning To Fish".
This is an episode of the children's programme Go! which introduced youngsters to new activities and was broadcast throughout 1965 on Monday's at 5.00pm. It was networked on ITV but each region contributed episodes. Jack's is, naturally, from Southern. It is listed as missing on lostshows (as are most of the others).
I've been through all the TV Times available to me and it seems that for most of 1965 the three weekday ITV franchises North (Granada), Midlands (ATV) and London (Rediffusion) had a programme called Seeing Sport in the 5:00pm Monday slot. All of the other regions showed Go! and each of them contributed one or more films to the series. The earliest I can find the series being fully networked is episode 27 on 18 October, which appears in the London edition of TV Times listed as "Southern Television Network Production".
These are the episode contents that I found that aren't in lostshows, with the regional company that produced them:
(There are 12 episodes for which I don't have a TV Times for reference)
John, your previously mentioned 05.07.65 Ponk Trekking was made by Border. I guess that is where there are the most ponks! Episode 3 on lostshows as "Fitness" was made by TWW. I think every single region (outside the big 3) made a contribution, was it common for the regions to collaborate on a complete series in this way I wonder?
Southern made at least 4 episodes: 2 on Water ski-ing with Fred Dinenage (which used the company's OB boat Southerner in their first year of ownership), Jack's "Learning to Fish" and another one by Jack Hargreaves on "Shotgun Shooting". That I would love to see!

The 'discovered' film episode mentioned by Ian Wegg in his opening post is not just a 'find' of One episode, but TWO!
because this Learning To Fish episode was also screened on 27 December 1965, making it the last Missing Episode on the lostshows list..
Details from (North Region) TV Times
27th Nov 1965...
and article on page 16 same TV Times...
The Second Screening of Learning To Fish in the (North Region) TV Times contains Monday 27 December,( you will find this is called Boxing Day, even though Christmas Day was the Saturday then the Sunday was a 'normal' day, they moved Boxing Day to the Monday 27 December) NB: this was screened at an earlier time than usual for Go!, this day was 4.55 - 5.20 pm, but the synopsis for the episode along with the production crew, is the same as for the first screening on Monday 29 November.. with both the 29 November and 27 December listings, the forum can see these 2 ME's are the same, the latter a repeat.
Onto Scottish Television .. the episode dated 19/7/65 in the Lostshows list is Offshore Cruising, made by Scottish Television, featuring a six ton sloop called Starletta skippered by Jock Kerr-Hunter who shows some of the arts of this...

Monday September 20 5.0 -5.25 pm Archery Kevin Flanagan is introduced to the 'Ancient and Honourable Sport' By Hector Simpson Ulster Television Production
I've got hopes that the Channel TV one on 'Surf Riding' will turn up. Channel have uploaded some nice stuff over the last few years, including 'lost' episodes of A Chance to Meet..., and were apparently doing an inventory of their archive. Anyone heard more about how this is going/went?
I'm guessing that a children's programme called 'Go! Shotgun Shooting' wouldn't have much chance of a repeat even if it turned up.
