Where was it found, or was it a recording someone made?

Where was it found, or was it a recording someone made? I've been speaking with DID over many months about this episode. I was heartbroken it was lost and was asking about the possibility of getting a copy of the transcript. Today, out of the blue an email arrived: I asked about its discovery and got another email: So there you go,

I'm sure everyone is probably already aware, but BBC Radio 4 are tweeting some REALLY exciting stuff about this! They have urged people to visit the DID website on Saturday when it will be available again and all will be revealed, and have said that there is more to tell, more to listen to, and more info. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I reckon they could have more of the recording...

The Guardian now have a report on the discovery online - Louis Armstrong, Diana Rigg, and the Rev. W. Awdry too. Armstrong's was found at the Louis Armstrong Museum in New York, and is his own copy; the others remain mysterious!
