Presumably it's amusing to pretned that it's by someone else. Maybe he has low self-esteem. To my knowledge in addition to me being "Copied" so too have "John Miller" and "Bevan Thomas" been victims of "Identity theft". And you too of course Norman.

I have also been the object of supposed "humour" by having someone post messages as me

Weird though - the post seems a valid contribution.

When will the Monty Pithon box-set with the complete telly series on DVD be released? ;D

Brilliant; now somebody's using MY name. Rest assured, if anyone posts with my name from now on, it won't be me. Goodbye.

Look here, this site says that the episode WAS completed, but then edited down before original broadcast! Is this an error, or is there more going on here that we are aware of? orange.cow.org/pythonet/sketches/lostsketches.htmlIt's a ll a bit queer if you ask me

Sorry that's orangecow.org/pythonet/sketches/lostsketches.htmlI accidentally added a "." by mistake. Anyway the original question still holds.......how much of the planned episode was atcually recorded(whether it made it to the tellyvision or not), and then , of course, how much of the recorded-but-not-screened material still survives today?

From sotcaa, that is. SOTCAA sure is an amazing source of material.
I have never seen the "big-nosed sculpture" photo mentioned before though. Is it online somewhere perhaps?

I do have one objection to the whole story. Unless I overlooked it, none of these sketches ever resurfaced in monty python's long-lasting record career. But I would have expected unused material to make it's way there. Quite a few pre-python sketches were used again for records (or specials, or live shows,) the most famous example being The Four Yorkshiremen. Why then would none of this material make its way to record somehow?
