I'd love to see Television's one and only TOTP appearance too. Hard to believe they appeared in the studio! Wonder if Tom sang live? The Adverts only performed "Gary Gilmore's Eyes" on TOTP the once, on the 25/8/77 edition which of course still exists. The song was not featured on the 8/9/77 edition at all. The Devo TOTP mystery has baffled me ever since I first saw the above photo a few years back. There is nothing listed on the database, so my guess is that they pre-recorded their performance ("Satisfaction"?) for inclusion in the following week's show but then the record went down the chart so it was cancelled. You never know, the clip may still be out there somewhere though!? do we know of any other artists who recorded a performance that was subsequently not shown? i know a massive Devo Collector who has many rare tapes. i will ask him about the ToTP query

I have looked on many beatles sites for info of this performance and i cant find any page that says this is circulating amongst collectors. The Beatles performed From Me To You and a shortened 1min 5 sec version of Please Please Me. They also performed with Bert Heayes Octet on a 1929 Standard 'After Your Gone'
If anyone does have this recording i would love to hear it.

Ever wonder why you have never seen Marvin Gaye sing "SEXUAL HEALING" in concert?
A 1 hour 47 minute concert from Marvin Gaye's last concert tour was just found in Virginia. The concert packed with lots of closeups of Marvin singing all of our favs and many songs from his "MIDNIGHT LOVE" cd. The highlight is Marvin performing "SEXUAL HEALING" dressed in PJ's. The video shows off his 24 piece orchestra with such greats as "SHIELA E", "WA WA WATSON" and "GORDON BANKS" This video is truly the find of the year
hopefully i will be able to post some clips. This is such great news. Im a masive fan of Marvin
