Oh man, this is just so depressing - really makes me ashamed to be a Dr Who fan.PM will need to have the patience of a saint to stop himself retaliating to the BS going down between his wife and IL.A very sad day indeed.

What has PM said? "Expect the unexpected." What does that mean, anyway? I find it all a bit bizarre. It's very unusual for someone involved in archives to make such statements. Archivists normally keep their heads down until they have something tangible to communicate.

I think PM is just expressing his own anticipation and excitement as a Dr Who fan in coming into the possession of missing episodes in the course of his work

I hope that he finds some more. . . and soon. . . . before some poor fan suffers a heart attack from all of this nonsense.

I'm still not convinced that he's "hoarding" missing Dr Who episodes, for various reasons that I have previously outlined. The article says he's 46 meaning that he's unlikely to have clear memories of anything before, possibly, late Pertwee or early Baker. It also says, although I'm slightly dubious, that he hasn't actually seen Web of Fear. Remember, also, that he's not any sort of actor, trained or otherwise. I'd really to see the Basil Brush, allegedly, received - he always used to make me laugh

Coming soon. The lost classics of Doctor Who! Each DVD cover comes emblazoned with a giant sticker containing a photo of Ian and the words "Not to be sold to Ian Levine".

Someone, please answer this for me:
What, EXACTLY, is the basis for Ian Levine's absolute certainty the Paul Morris has episodes?
I'm not trying to feed the Omnirumour, but I cannot, for the life of me, recall how all this got started. Is it JUST the shipping label? Levine seems 100% certain, but I cannot recall a single detail that would back up that certainty.
Many thanks.

He has also cited an email containing a list of episodes recovered from years ago.

You would think the BBC would be wanting to cash in on those episodes if they e were availalbe. Perhaps Ian saw Phil's list of missing episodes and thought they were recovered episodes instead

He has also cited an email containing a list of episodes recovered from years ago. He's claimed that he, and others, "knew" that EotW and WoF had been found/recovered several years before they were released, i.e., 2011. He has, however, failed to produce anything to substantiate that or any evidence that he was aware that WoF3 wasn't included. The latter piece of information doesn't seem to have "leaked" until very shortly before the official announcement. Anybody party to "inside" information would, surely have been aware of that. Philip Morris' wife has also taken issue with his claim to have helped PM with "documentation" some years ago. From what we've previously learnt from Dick Fiddy it seems that he was provided with letters of accreditation from the BBC and BFI to give him credibility when trying to recover British TV. I'm open to correction but I can't see what sort of "documentation" IL could provide that would help. I see a lot of it as frustration.

I have it on good authority that this is actually a new interview,in which Phil repeated line for line what he said last year. Seriously,it says nothing and is a bit teasy, which is exactly what I'd expect.Bar an amazing revelation, what do we expect from him when he is interviewed again, except pretty much what we've already had? One must also assume that obviously Phil was back in the UK for that interview. I thought he was out of the country counting film cans. That is why I think the Radio Times article was prepared well in advance of the release date of The Web of Fear DVD
