Wish I could attend, this year of all years, as I've frequently supported the event in the past. But the date is hopeless for me. :-( Still, I'm sure people will post/tweet about all the exciting finds that are announced.

As of yet the line-up on the second session is still TBC. We have a choice of (unseen) material that has emerged recently but I am hoping to wait until the first week of December before making any final decisions in order to have the maximum time to explore other areas of possibilities that are about. This isn't meant to be mysterious or teasing, it's just a good way of ensuring we get good material.

Is there any chance that some of this material, or indeed videoed excerpts from the two MBW sessions, could end up on the BFIPlayer eventually? (I'd have loved to attend but I'm out the country on that date.) Cheers Vaughan

In advance of MBW and the premiere of the new Kaleidoscope feature-length documentary 'The Native Hue of Resolution: 20 Years of Missing Believed Wiped,' you can enjoy a warm-up film in the new Kaleidoscope Screening Room of 'The Bob Monkhouse Collection.' It was produced by Chris Perry and Rory Clark at Farcical Films for the Bob Monkhouse BAFTA event in 2009 and is available to enjoy for a short time courtesy of Rory Clark at: www.kaleidoscopearchive.co.uk/screening-room/ It will give you a taste of the style and production quality to expect from our new film. I believe there are only a handful of tickets available for our film; just seven when I last checked. I'm absolutely gutted that I won't be able to get to the NFT on December the 21st myself due to work commitments, as I think it's going to be a fantastic event. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. There's a great 2014 of events planned with our new team, which includes a certain Laurence Piper of this parish Keep an eye on www.kaleidoscopearchive.co.uk for more news and an ear on our monthly podcast at www.kaleidoscopearchive.co.uk/podcastsHere's to a great 2014, with lots more classic television coming to light in the future.

The second session will feature vintage 1960s comedy sketches and music - no new Dr Who episodes I'm afraid but some excellent stuff nonetheless.

I very often find that the funniest moments are not in the comedy sketches. The TV continuity footage last year had me splitting my sides!

Sorry to hear there won't be any Doctor Who, but the vintage comedy sounds really really really exciting. If only I had money to fly over and attend!
