Most of those people are only coming for the first session, a few are staying for the second.

It's now 11 hours since booking for BFI Members opened. As of now for session 2 there are 190 seats available (out of 450). * Centre block is nearly sold out apart from around thirty in the back three rows. When I checked the site within a minute of booking opening, I found that in the middle block the first ten rows were completely sold out. So either there must be loads of guests or seats reserved for large number of the press,or was there a special block reserved for kaleidoscope members ?. Possibly a combination of all three. * similar number of seats available for session 1. 24 hours later and 19 more seats for session two have been sold. (171 left). So it is looking good for at least some tickets being available for non members sale next Tuesday @11.30am I would guess somewhere between 50-100 will be available by then.

That's assuming there isn't a rush following a mention on TV or radio! What's 171 divided by 70 million?

Well only BFI members can buy before next Tuesday, so only those of the 70 million prepared to pay an extra £45 to become a member.

I have rarely seen a complete sell out in the last few years, so I think you will find getting tickets is not a problem.
Dick is putting together the panel for session 2 so I don't know who will be on it yet.

Now 145 seats left for session two. So with 26 seats sold in three days. It looks very likely that over 100 will still be available for the non BFI members to buy on tuesday. Though there are now only 6 seats left in the centre block, all in the back row.

I've bought my tickets on the phone for both sessions a few weeks ago & i'm all set to see MBW on the 1st of December. I won't get them in the post but they'll reserve it when I come in that day.

Dick is putting together the panel for session 2 so I don't know who will be on it yet. I've been to almost all the MBW and the only sold out one I can remember is the 2011 Doctor Who recoveries. But even then I booked very late and still got a seat at the back. I sincerely hope that Doctor Who gets no mention. I love the programme but it gets more than enough coverage and will be available to buy. MBW is an opportunity to see stuff that may not ever get shown elsewhere.

I quite agree, like yourself, I am a big fan of the show but hope to see recoveries of other shows that have been recovered in the past year.

Not able to go this year due to a prior engagement so I hope that the documentary gets another airing soon after MBW. Would love to know what's been recovered in the past 12 months other than Dr Who!

Looks like only about 60 left, in the left hand block of seats, for each show. Seems I booked just in time.
