The excellent Simon Moreby has spoken to a few people and with a bit of detective work it transpires that the first episode is 07/04/69, and the second is 24/03/69. ""Missing or incomplete episodes for programme Q5. 24.03.69 with Richard Ingrams, John Bluthal, John Wells, Philippe Le Bars, Anthony Trent (missing)31.03.69 with Neil Shand, John Bluthal, Fanny Carby, Alan Clare, Philippe Le Bars A 16mm black-and-white film print exists, but the programme was originally made using 2" colour videotape. 07.04.69 with John Wells, Richard Ingrams, John Bluthal, Philippe Le Bars, Charlie Young A 16mm black-and-white film print exists, but the programme was originally made using 2" colour videotape.21.04.69 with Richard Ingrams, John Bluthal, John Wells, Eric Sykes, Katie Boyle (missing) 28.04.69 with John Bluthal, Fanny Carby, Ray Ellington, Michael Malnick, Philippe Le Bars (missing) 05.05.69 with Philippe Le Bars, John Bluthal, Charlie Young, John Wells, Alan Clare (missing) Out of an original total of 7 episodes, 4 episodes are missing and 2 others exist on formats inferior to the original."" It has been confirmed that all audios of the series exist, too. How can the second be 24/03/69 if that one is currently missing?

Hey wait a minute, that's right. Shouldn't that be the one below that?
On the other hand... This looks like it's from LostShows.com and that database is not the final word. Quite a few details are wrong. (Well, it's run by volunteers so we can't expect daily updates.)

The Radio Times was wrong, on actual transmission the eps were swapped around. We've checked the PasBs and have corrected it for the future.
