I believe they did make a mistake on the credits though as they listed William Hartnell to have played 'Doctor Who' rather than 'Dr. Who' which is what is listed in the PasB documents.

I agree 90% with Greg's review, however I actually like a lot of the still framed artwork and design regardless of some shots not quite looking like the characters they were portraying. Artwork is subjective, so I was more forgiving there and quite like the style of the art. I also went in really wanting to like this because I also really enjoy the story and would like to see more missing stories animated, but felt very let down by the final product. I actually had to watch the animated episodes twice because on the first viewing, the jump cuts were so distracting that I missed most of the storyline (mostly by saying to myself "what the hell were the animators doing?"). So besides the things mentioned in Greg's review, some of the animation decisions really annoyed me as well. So, besides the very 1990's Mtv style jump cutting and camera angles, I found the lack of mouth movement with overcompensated upper face movement was very distracting and made no sense at all. While watching, instead of enjoying the show I kept saying "why would they not concentrate more effort on the mouths moving more accurately and leave the eyes and that area more (or completely) stationary?" To me, that was just plain bad direction on the animators (or animation director's) part. With the eyes and foreheads moving like that, I kept being reminded of the (very cool, but bizarre) Rolling Stones promo video for "Like A Rolling Stone". www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziRR5h3b4YUSo my personal overview is: with The Invasion, half of the time when I watch it I view it with the animation (which had it's problems, but I still find it very enjoyable overall) and the other half of the time I view it with my old LC recons, mostly just for the alternate viewing experience. With Reign of Terror, I will always be hauling out my LC copies for parts 4+5 because I just found the crazy jump cuts too annoying to watch the animation. Very sad. I understand budget constrictions, but if it can't be done right maybe it either shouldn't be done at this time or by this company. I really hope that it doesn't take another five years for another animated effort, but if it's a choice of waiting for a better fitting production to be in their budget or more of this style - I will hope for them to wait. A reconstruction like Tenth Planet 4 from the VHS release would be a great alternative as we may get to see with Ice Warriors (unless it's the same compiled recon from it's VHS release - although it was very good, 2+3 complete recons would be better). Just my opinion. Writing to my old video trading buddy, he replied that he really enjoyed the Reign animations. So there you go. It's all just a matter of personal opinions.
