I think that there definetely should be a facebook page created in regards to missing episodes of Doctor Who. Since so many teenagers now are huge fans of the new series who use things like twitter, facebook, tumblr etc... and the such are among the easiest ways of informing them on a large scale. Maybe if it's done right we can get every teenager in Britain bugging their grandparents about film reels

Unfortunately, creating a Facebook page isn't the best way of informing the masses (trust me, I'm a teenager). Instead, it would seem more feasible to get the official Doctor Who page to post something on the topic. Here are some figures; At the time of posting 2,841,290 people 'like' the page. Their posts regularly exceed 10,000 'likes' (you can think of this as being 10,000 people acknowledging the post). Many people just like the page for the sake of it, and many just lap up whatever they post with little or no thought. But I think if the official page posted something, it'd get through to a lot more people. If we were going to set up a Facebook page, and call it something like "Doctor Who Missing Episodes" (hypothetically, of course), it would remain on the fringes of the site, not generating many 'likes' (i.e. acknowledgements), information, and we'd end up getting nowhere fast. Just my two cents

There is currently several "groups" and "community" pages dedicated to the return of Missing Episodes. The most popular one I can find is liked by 204 people and talked about by 3. Not inspiring numbers at all.
I do, however, believe that these groups method of putting out the information could be better. I think any group would require dedication on a level the Jon and Brad give their sites. A method of successfully spreading the word through Facebook is possible.
Getting the Doctor Who page to make a post themselves would be one way to accomplish such a fact. However, even then I would be very insistent on HOW they do it.
