"I'm sure you'll be getting advice on this one PDQ. "
I'm going to be offline for the next few days, visiting relatives with no internet access.
I think maybe I should leave it to one of the board's resident experts to handle the communication.

Yes, my name there is I.R. Fincham. I'm the one who said: "If you really have such tapes I know some archivists that would be very pleased to talk to you." He hasn't responded yet. Seems he's been off-line since then. I presume you're posting under your real name here..!

For info - there's another one on ebay - #251184146611 If it's got Death on the Nile on it, that dates to Christmas 1982 at the earliest, as that is when DotN got its UK TV premiere.

I only remember that because the 1982 Christmas RT was the first one I ever kept, and there was a big artwork spread!

Yeah, I.R. Fincham is a pun, as are most of my usernames on various forums. When I started here I was Norman Castle for a while, but changed it when I read the rules. Pete Morris is my real name.

Okay, I've got contact details for the fellow with the TISWAS tapes. Who would be the best person to handle it from here?

There's another one on ebay by the same seller - #130809385452. According to the seller, this is the last one he has from tapes that came from his uncle's loft. No feedback appears to have been left for the last ones he sold.

According to feedback, the Death on The Nile tape (which cost the buyer £63) only had Death on The Nile on it and nothing else - a very expensive copy! For info, the seller has now listed yet another tape - #251193878334
