In the unlikely event that these prints were not returned to the BBC Enterprises, could they later have ended up in the Deutsches Rundfunkarchiv ( www.dra.de/)? I suppose it too obscure an idea to follow up though.

DonĀ“t want to destroy the hope...but we have in Germany a very similar problem as with the BBC. Some very "importent" people of the German television get paniced, the archives will become to big. I think you guess what they have done..... From the very good show "Music from Studio B" from the late 60ties to the mid 70ties (Abba performed 1974 a German Version of "Waterloo" in that show) only one episode survived...as a deposit copy. So, the chance is very low, that a programm, never brodcasted, still exist. But if anyone will try it: www.zdf-enterprises.de/de/zdfarchive/profil
