Thanks for that, i've updated that list with some of those recent finds.
by the way does anyone have any information of the promo clip that was filmed for 'Fire Brigade.?
The information i have is from a press statement in December 1967 which states: "The Move bassist Ace Kefford is reported to have suffered “complete mental and physical breakdown” during the filming of a promo clip for the group’s forthcoming “Fire Brigade” single. "
Did they complete this?

So just to clarify the situation with Chinatown,it was performed on TOTP and LIFT OFF and as far as we know they are both missing.

Yes, both missing/wiped.
The best hope for any performance of Chinatown would be foreign archives. The Move did tour various european tv studios during that time so maybe some may have survived.

The idea of a Fire Brigade promo is fascinating, no idea if it was completed/exists, though given it's non reappearance anywhere and the breakdown story it seems on the side of unlikely. In addition, the book that comes with the Move boxset contains a photo from March 1967 of "a still from the I Can Hear the Grass Grow promo film": I've never seen or heard or this video otherwise: any idea if there's any hope it's still at large?

Well the Move's record company can now rest assured as can all fans that the 'I Can Hear the Grass Grow' promo exists:- from the Huntley Archive:- ""Film Number: 11294 | Category: Music | Decade: 1960's | Sound: Sound | Colour: B/W Promotional film for the Move song 'I Can Hear The Grass Grow'. The Move arrive at a wood in the country in their Alfa Romeo car. They get out and walk into the wood. They are filmed standing around and pulling silly faces. They sit down at a table and are served tea by an old man. Some teenage girl fans begin to appear amongst the trees. They attack the group and pull their clothes off. The band fall about laughing then chase the girls away. Band members Roy Wood, Ace Kefford, Trevor Burton"" I'm counting this as a find (mind you I count most things....). I am unsure if it was shown on TOTP or any other UK show, though.

One of the snippets of Jimmy Savile on one of the 'tribute' shows has Jim signing off from TOTP, with Roy Wood in his "California Man" finery in the background.

The only one in colour is from Colour Me Pop, so it must have been that.
