Suggest everyone reads this: www.zetaminor.com/roobarb/showthread.php?11607-The-Avengers-on-DVD&p=2147001#post2147001 Wonderful news. David Brunt points to Chris Perry's Facebook page: "Now today I am delighted to announce that Kaleidoscope has acquired the long-lost print of “Tunnel of Fear”. We will be screening this rediscovered edition at our November event Missing Believed Wiped Central. We hope to have a guest connected with the show to introduce it aswell. We have also acquired a large film collection simultaneously which contains more lost archive gems and I will be announcing each of those new finds all week at 9.30pm. None of this couldn’t have happened without Steve Birt who has proven once again to be a very worthy friend and financial backer to Kaleidoscope." IMDB on Tunnel of Fear 5/8/1961 : www.imdb.com/title/tt0516938/ Lostshows has been updated. Thanks to everyone involved in these finds.Tremendous.

Does any one have any ideas what else they have found or for how many days these announcements will run for?

This is amazing news. I thought the existence of girl on the trapeze was the exception rather than the possibility of more.
While I'm excited when a Dr who episode is found, the number of season 1 avengers prints are so small that It's an even greater event Hopefully this is a sign of more

More announcements of other finds to come at 2130 each night this week. This is amazing news but the bit above really interests me. A hell of a start to the announcements! Quite! If I had five related announcements to make, which I knew would vary in terms of their impact, I'd start with a biggie, then run three so-sos (with rising interest, preferably) and finish off with an absolute barnstormer. Announcement #5 will have to go some to top an Avengers S1 find. (A for Andromeda, Out of the Unknown, Doomwatch, Not Only But Also, Likely Lads--any of those would fit the bill nicely for me. I'm ruling out Doctor Who, as I'm sure only the BBC would announce that.)

May be some more ITV stuff or ABC perhaps? I agree with ending on a big one. Very happy to hear this

So the Avengers was not part of this other collection and so what's to be announced over the next few days is probably not related to the UCLA, in which case it's anyone's guess what'll be revealed.
How about....
Monday-The Avengers season 1 Tuesday- Early Crossroads Wednesday- an episode of "United!" Thursday- Complete and Utter History of Britain Friday-Mystery and Imagination Saturday- Callan Sunday-The Road

I could imagine it being Doctor Who if it was a single orphan episode. But if it was an entire serial, I'd think the BBC would do the announcement of that.
