You're just the sort of people who'd keep 'apokin' at Christmas presents...rather than show a bit of sense and open them properly, then Sellotape them up again!
I'm hoping that we jolt into Earth II in the next few hours, and there's an announcement that episode 3 of The Yeti/Cybernauts Masterplan has been discovered.
I can remember reading that, since the early Avengers were live,no series 1 episodes could exist...
Eight hours to the next announcement.

May be some more ITV stuff or ABC perhaps? I agree with ending on a big one. Very happy to hear this Another Public Eye would be great and ABC.

Thank you very much and are you going next month to missing believe wipe too. Caring commitments,365 days a year, mean that I haven't been able to go out for a day for 20 years. It sounds as though MBW will be fabulous.Say 'hello' to each other! Anyone wearing a name-tag and a sign saying "Let's talk"?

I'm very sorry to hear that my heart goes out to you. I will try and that is a great idea. It didn't go too well on the tube! I used to live in London so I bet not.

I can remember reading that, since the early Avengers were live,no series 1 episodes could exist... Several of them were broadcast live, including Girl On The Trapeze. That one was telerecorded. I don't know if any of the other live episodes were, but there is at least a chance they are still in an archive, somewhere. Edit - all the live episodes were recorded, according to this site: www.declassified.hiddentigerbooks.co.uk/keel_004_nightmare.htmContrary to popular myth, despite going out live, this episode was recorded, presumably from transmission. This is evidenced by a production memo detailing a proposed 1962 repeat run of Series 1 episodes. Though the planned reruns did not ultimately take place, the document lists VTR (video tape recording) numbers for all of the live episodes, indicating that these recordings were in existence as at 30th March 1962. The VTR number for Nightmare was 1098.

Well, we already had the first reel of the first episode, and two others complete.

Absolutely astonished. What a lovely find. I do hope it comes out as a download or on a shiny disc sometime soon.
