This is my first post, and i just might have (Tiny possibility) found 24 missing episodes at a friend's house. Though you might not believe me, i do believe my friend is speaking the truth. The missing episodes are: Marco Polo, 1, 6, 7 The Crusade, 2 Mission To The Unknown, entire episode The Daleks Master Plan, 1, 3, 11 The Power Of The Daleks, entire serial The Evil Of The Daleks, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Right now, he is in Thailand on holiday, but in 1 week, we'll know if his father, to be exact, has 24 missing episodes, if he does, the world would rejoice. good day

It seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is a very similar post to previous hoaxes. If indeed there is some truth in this, I suggest you speak to Paul Vanezis (who is on here) who is an expert in missing episodes. If this is the case then wonderful.

I would suggest that if this is truthful then they will be tapes not films. Though I always like to be proved wrong.

I'm always dubious about uncorroborated reports of what looks like many fans dreams. Unless my maths is seriously wrong I don't think I get a total of 24.
Is our new poster located in Blackpool ?

I make it 15 but that could mean a combination of 9 others. Seriously though if they're big fans, why are we only hearing about it now? I don't mean to sound discourteous but it sounds like a huge wind-up. A big fan would have informed someone sooner.

It's the problem with a hoax, the inconsistencies are almost immediately apparent.
As John says, they cannot be ABC prints, although they could have come from ABC. If it is true, someone would have stuck ABC labels over the top to disguise it was BBC. How likely is that? Hmmmm...
