Patrick Mower is probably best recalled as Haggerty in the 1973 - 74 'Special Branch' episodes and 'Target' the hard hitting BBC series of 1977 - 78.
Years ago I recall reading an article which surprisingly referred to 'Patrick Mower having kept copies (or tried to) of everything he'd been in'. I wondered how widely this is known. The reason I bring this up is qbviously a good deal of those shows are now wiped.
The appearence that springs to mind is 'Menace - whos been sleeping in my bed'. Shown in the 1970 series I believe Mower had a leading role. The play was written by Martin ('Doomwatch') Worth.
Martin Worth then adapted the play into a West end stage play I recall seeing billed, which ran for several years.

You beat me to that one! I was just wondering about Haunted myself. Something I'd definitely like to see. Does anyone here know if any survive? This was talked about some time ago but no conclusion was definitely reached on archive status - anyone with inside info on ABC stuff know?

There was rumours Lawrence (i must stress rumours) that 'Haunted' had a slight video release many years ago in the states, now putting 2 and 2 together from what John Stewart Miller has said in this thread. that release could have originated from Mower himself?

There was, I think, another short-lived series in the '70s called Haunted too (unconnected). Maybe that's where the confusion is? Never heard of any video release though. I'd like to think that some of the episodes of the ABC series are still around though.

Wonder how Pat could be contacted? (Agents etc.)?

The easiest answer would be via the Emmerdale production office, although I haven't a clue on how to contact them either!

IMHO not enough of Patrick Mower's work has been lost.

IMHO not enough of Patrick Mower's work has been lost. joke or otherwise,is this a helpful remark on a site dedicated to finding and appreciating missing television?
