Not having been able to acquire a copy of 'Missing Believed Wiped', is there an agreed opinion on the possible current status of the batch of early Troughton serials sent to Uganda (Highlanders to Faceless Ones inclusive) ? Also a batch of the final 3 Troughton serials sent to Zambia. Is it too much to hope that Phil Morris has tracked these down, but that they might be in a poor condition, hence the lack of announcement?

Answer to the first question is no. Unless someone turns the episodes up we're never likely to know. Since we don't have any actual evidence that anyone has, all sorts of theories and ideas are just as plausible as the next. It's a case of Schrodinger's Cat.
The second question: I hope has them as I'm sure we all do, but my hope comes without expectation - if nothing else turns up I won't be disappointed. If you can do that then fine. If not, then yes, it is wayyy too much to hope for!

I think I remember Paul saying some time ago that Zambia had been checked and there are no Who there.
