I thought the Nation estate had denied the channel the rights to any Dalek stories! Unless they are prepared to pay a little extra for them at least...Nothing changes does it, remember UK Gold had this same problem in the 90s!

It's a bit ironic that they probably lose out on royalties by asking for too much money.

That's the way of local councils too isn't it. They charge too much for the rent of their shops and when people cannot pay and leave they get nothing but they won't give in either!

Unless they are prepared to pay a little extra for them at least...Nothing changes does it, remember UK Gold had this same problem in the 90s! They have shown several Dalek stories, including Planet of the Daleks, Genesis of the Daleks (last week), Resurrection and Remembrance.

I'm sure I heard that they're also doing a poll for 8 stories to be shown over some weekend in the near future.

On Horror channel it's been a mixture of stories and Doctors of late - Jon Pertwee in 'Terror of The Autons', then Patrick Troughton in 'The Seeds of Death', Tom Baker in 'Genesis of The Daleks' and at the weekend 'Horror of Fang Rock' ominbus , then Colin Baker in 'Attack of The Cybermen'and beginning yesterday Jon Pertwee in 'The Sea Devils'
looks like all of the seven 'classic era' Doctors will be in action over the Dr.Who weekend too
Watch channel stories begin at midnight, I haven't seen any of those

I got rid of SKY four years ago after getting fed up with losing my money down a drain! LoL Horror Channel is on Freesat as well - full recording capabilities for a one off fee and no ongoing subs.

The Horror channel must have payed up then I take it? They've actually been showing Dalek stories ever since they originally started showing Who, it's not a new thing.
