Didn't DWM destroy 10000 copies of the The Power of Kroll? - due to storage issues?

Straying into the off topic-off topic comment. I liked the Technical Manual simply because it had several blank pages at the front which I thought would be neat to get people to autograph. I know I have Anthony Ainley, Valentine Dyall, JNT's and Richard Franklin's in there.

I just won an eBay auction of Hartnell softcovers. The Rescue was amongst them, and I must say, reading it now, that Ian Marter's prose was sensational! Elsewhere I've posted Nigel Robinsons publishers comment regarding Ian.. What a great read !!

He wrote back on the reverse side of the last page of his script for Survival ep2. One of my treasured possessions.

I've got The Claws of Axos as a WH Allen hardback, but it's an ex library copy.
A couple of libraries near me sold off their older Dr Who novels in the mid 1990s, at the time I was too strapped for cash to snap them up apart from the above.

Is anyone on here bidding? I was thinking of it, but don't really want to drive the price up at all for anyone here.

A lot of people like the Web of Fear novelisation. What are the other favourites? I still think Reign of Terror was a ripper.

Much prefer the ones which add background, motivation, humour, etc.,rather than giving just a by-numbers account of the basic plot. Soft spot for some of the earliest,by David Whitaker.
