Some good news from BBC Wales - around 35 hours of news footage from the 1960s has turned up, presumably having been misfiled as Disc a Dawn outtakes and Hob y Deri Dando rushes. I'm not entirely sure how lost this little lot really was. There was footage of the Queen at the 1960 Eisteddfod in the 1989 series on the history of BBC Wales. Still any rediscovery is good news.
